If I register a domain is it mine forever? |
Yes and No. You do not own the domain, you are the registrant. As such the domain is registered to you and the regisrtation period is two years. Prior to the end of your period of registration you will renew that registration so the domain is effectively yours forever as long as you keep renewing the registration. |

Does Domain Centre offer domain registrations? |
Yes we do but we do not offer this service on our website. We do not have an automated way to offer domain registrations so the process is manual. |

How do I get a domain that is already registered? |
If a domain is already registered and is in use with an active website there is little chance that the current registrant will release it. If however the domain is dormant and shows nothing or just a parking page (page of links) it may be obtainable. |

How do I find out who owns a domain? |
Do a Whois lookup on the Nominet home page (for .uk domains only). The result will tell you the registrant (owner) and the registrar (the company that manages it). |
